Facilitation Series for Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts
Spot illustrations and animations created for Arizona State University online lesson modules. Lesson modules were aimed at practicing artists and cultural workers learning leadership and community engagement skills, namely, the art of facilitating fruitful group conversations.
Each lesson module featured an audio interview with a cultural worker who described their approach to facilitation as informed by their creative practice. Spot illustrations were created to mark each “chapter” of the interview: the artist’s creative practice, facilitation defined, the artist’s own approach to facilitation, misconceptions about the work of facilitation, and final words of advice to other creatives hoping to gain facilitation skills.
Illustrations were drawn and animated in Procreate and composited in LumaFusion.
